Biography

Dr. Gleason is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine.  Her practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of activity and sports-related injuries in the knee, shoulder and elbow. Dr. Gleason graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in biophysical chemistry. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Gleason completed her orthopaedic surgery residency followed by additional fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Gleason has covered several area sports teams, including Southern Connecticut State University, Albertus Magnus College Men’s Ice Hockey, and many local high schools. Dr. Gleason is a member of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She is also a 2023 Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
