Biography

Dual board certified in both primary care sports medicine and pediatric medicine, Dr. Greene specializes in the non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries in adults and children. He has advanced skills in ultrasound-guided injections, dance medicine, and concussion management. Dr. Greene graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, followed by fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at New York University Langone Health.

Dr. Greene has provided medical care for athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, including Iona Preparatory Upper School, White Plains High School, Greenwich High School, Long Island University, College of Mount Saint Vincent, New York University, Yeshiva University, Manhattanville College, Iona University, and New Jersey’s Metropolitan Riveters Professional Women’s Ice Hockey Team.

Dr. Greene places a strong priority on communication and accessibility. He prioritizes patient safety and patient care, leading by example to his team. Dr. Greene works with staff members including medical assistants, nursing coordinators, physical therapists and physician assistants. Upon joining ONS, he worked to create the ONS Sports Concussion Center, forming a comprehensive team dedicated toward providing evidence-based concussion management and care. Most recently, he was chosen by Burke Rehabilitation Hospital to serve as a site director for their Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Greene is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. He is also a 2023 Castle Connolly Top Doctor.

Dr. Greene works with active and athletic patients to determine the best course of treatment for each. He specializes in minimally invasive non-operative treatment options that will get them back to the things they love to do as quickly as possible.
