    ONS physicians are “unassigned with Medicare”. This means you will be asked to pay for your visit at the time of service. We submit the claim to Medicare for you. Medicare will send payment for your visit directly to YOU.  Our fees are based on the Medicare published fee schedule.

If you are required to obtain a valid referral before the date of your visit, please be sure you do so.  It is YOUR responsibility to understand your plan guidelines, as plans differ.

Please check the back of your insurance card. If there is a box that says In-network Referral Required, you will need to get an insurance referral from an in-Network Primary Care Physician, Pediatrician or OBGYN.


If we verify your insurance and learn that a referral is required, you will not be seen by the doctor if you do not have one.
