About
Tim Greene, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in sports medicine and hip arthroscopy—a technique that has revolutionized the treatment of various hip problems. He performs a range of shoulder replacement procedures, including total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, and partial shoulder replacement. Dr. Greene graduated from Princeton University and earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in orthopedics at Emory University, during which he served as associate team physician for the athletic teams at Georgia Tech.
Dr. Greene further honed his expertise during fellowship training at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado, under the direction of Dr. Marc Philippon. While there, he also served as associate team physician for the U.S. Ski Team.
His passion for sports medicine is deeply rooted in his personal athletic background. At Princeton University, he was the varsity football team captain and received numerous awards for outstanding athletic achievement.
In addition to his clinical and research pursuits, Dr. Greene currently serves as a team physician for Brunswick School. He is also a team physician for the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and the Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL), where he provides world-class medical expertise, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation support to PLL and WLL athletes.
