About
Dr. Megan Gleason is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in sports medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of sports- and activity-related injuries of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. Her practice includes minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques as well as advanced reconstructive procedures.

Education & Training
Dr. Gleason graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in biophysical chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where she also completed fellowship training in sports medicine.
Sports Team Coverage
Dr. Gleason has extensive experience providing care to athletes at the high school, collegiate, and club levels. She currently serves as team physician for King School and Greens Farms Academy. She has also covered Fairfield University and Iona College rugby, Southern Connecticut State University athletics, and Albertus Magnus Men’s Hockey, among others.

Dr. Gleason is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
