Dr. Vitale and the staff at ONS are AMAZING! When my 6-yr old broke his arm (full break of both bones in the forearm) it was extremely scary for him, and may have been even worse for us as parents. Dr. Vitale put ALL of our nerves at ease throughout the whole process. He explained very clearly, and always took the time to speak directly to my son and make sure that he understood what was going to happen next, and always asked HIM if he had any questions, in the most patient and caring way possible. The ONS practice located in Greenwich CT hit the JACKPOT when Dr Mark Vitale was asked to join them in 2011! I repeat….HIT THE JACKPOT !!! I have seen Dr Vitale over the past 10 years, on three separate occasions for the following conditions: chronic arthritis to both my thumbs, a traumatic puncture wound injury to my dominant wrist and an acute fracture to my dominant wrist. Every encounter with the ONS office whether it was the Greenwich or Stamford location was flawless: my MD appt scheduling, Insurance approval, other diagnostic testing that needed to be scheduled/approved, my initial intake, my wait time to be seen, and all follow ups. Communication from Dr Vitale was unparalleled. There is something extremely unique about Dr Mark Vitale. From his extreme clinical competence and expertise in treating hand and upper extremity dysfunction, he also delivers a bed side manner that is very rarely seen in the area of Healthcare. His special demeanor makes you feel special, safe, and most importantly calm, despite the traumatic circumstances that lead you to his door. I would never use anyone else to heal me.
