What trends are you seeing in physical medicine/rehabilitation/sports medicine? What are you currently excited about?
It is a very exciting time in the world of sports medicine. We are learning more about regenerative medicine therapies, which can help certain conditions that do not respond to first-line treatments such as physical therapy. The use of musculoskeletal ultrasound has also revolutionized sports medicine, enabling image-guided procedures and injections. Additionally, ultrasound can also be used as an extension of our physical exam to help diagnose certain conditions.
What are your personal interests?
I love staying active through cycling and yoga. I also enjoy spending time with my family, baking, and enjoying nature together.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Hands down, my favorite part is when a patient comes back or writes to tell me that their pain or issue is completely resolved, thanks to my treatment, and they are back to their favorite activities!
