While at ONS for a different issue, that doctor sent me to see Dr. Peden right then to look at my infected foot, which was the result of being pierced by a palm tree frond three weeks earlier and was not getting better. Dr. Peden made time to see me within the half hour and ordered an ultrasound for the following day, which revealed a 1″ long piece of palm tree frond broken off in my foot. The next day, he removed it in his office and stitched me up. His entire process was timely, efficient, thorough and most of all, intelligent. His bedside manner is very pleasant and professional. Although I had previously had an X-ray and two rounds of antibiotics, he took the extra measure of ordering the ultrasound so that he could make a proper diagnosis and attack plan. I am having the stitches removed today, 10 days later, and feel great. I highly recommend Dr. Peden for his professionalism and dedication to making people better.
