PARTIAL KNEE REPLACEMENT

How is it Different from Total Knee Arthroplasty?

Partial Knee Replacement surgery replaces a damaged portion of the knee—the medial (inside), lateral (outside) or the patella (kneecap), with a prosthetic implant. This then leaves healthy ligaments and unaffected cartilage in place.

Some patients may be good candidates for a same-day outpatient procedure. Read the comprehensive Outpatient Knee Replacement Surgery brochure to learn if this option is right for you.
