Aging and Exercise: Is Fitness the New Fountain of Youth?

March 8, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

FREE

The physical benefits of fitness for people of all ages are well known. What is becoming increasingly clear, however, is the positive role regular exercise and activity plays on the aging body and mind. Shoulder, elbow and knee specialist, Marc Kowalsky, MD,  will address the challenges of maintaining fitness as the body ages and offer practical solutions to get beyond the aches and pains of aging to keep active.  Physical Therapist, Robert Spatz, DPT, will provide practical advice for injury prevention, adaptive fitness for injuries, and exercises for strength and stability.

The event is free, but registration is required. Please register on the event calendar page at greenwichhospital.org or call 203-863-4277.
